Rental of Bansha Castle is exclusive and self-catering, and normally runs from Saturday to Saturday. Current rates are shown on our Book Now page.

Normal rental includes 7 bedrooms. Two additional bedrooms in the family wing may be available to the same group for larger parties, at €150 per room per night (minimum 2 nights), in addition to the rental; these rooms cannot be booked separately.

Holiday periods (Christmas, New Year, Easter and bank holiday weekends) are quoted separately; please enquire for holiday-period rates and minimum stays.

A booking deposit of 30% of the rental cost, excluding utilities and the refundable security deposit, is payable immediately to secure the booking. The remaining rental balance, utilities and security deposit are due 90 days before arrival. For bookings made within 90 days of arrival, the full rental cost, utilities and security deposit are payable at the time of booking.

Heating and electricity (utilities) are charged at €150 per night or €950 per week.

The refundable security deposit is €300 for standard stays. Depending on the nature of the booking, a higher booking deposit and security deposit may apply; any additional requirements will be agreed and confirmed in writing at the time of booking. It is refunded at the end of the stay, less any applicable charges for damage, breakages or agreed incidentals.

Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque, bank draft or credit card; payment details are provided when your booking is confirmed.

Special offers (for example, free utilities) are limited to one offer or discount per booking and do not apply when agents’ commission applies.

Cancellations made 180 days or more before arrival are subject to a 10% administration charge. Cancellations made less than 180 days but 90 days or more before arrival forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made less than 90 days before arrival forfeit the full rental amount.

We strongly recommend taking out holiday insurance to cover cancellation or illness.

Check-in is from 5pm on the day of arrival; check-out is strictly by 10am on the day of departure.

Dogs may be allowed in special circumstances, but prior permission is required and an additional cleaning charge may apply.

Please note that exclusive use of Bansha Castle is for residential guests only.

Bank transfers and exchange rates: the amount received depends on the prevailing exchange rates and charges at our bank on the day of transfer. Any adjustment will be made when the security deposit is refunded at departure.
