Terms + Conditions

Rental of Bansha Castle  is exclusive and self-catering and normally runs from Saturday to Saturday. 

HIGH SEASON RATES - May thru’ Sep : €1350 per night. 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday is discounted to €5700 per week.  2,3,4 nights at full rates

LOW SEASON RATES: 2 nights  minimum   €2700 plus utilities, 3 nights  €3550 plus utilities, 4 nights   €4200 plus utilities, 5 nights  €4750 plus utilities, 6 nights €5300 plus utilities, 7 nights             €5700 plus utilities.

Minimum 3 days on bank holiday weekends, 5 days Xmas, New Year and Easter).  Normal rental  includes 7 bedrooms. Two extra rooms are available @ €135 per room per night or €800 per room per week.

Deposit is normally 30% or more of the total cost of the holiday and is due immediately. The remaining balance is due 90 days before your arrival date. Bookings made within 90 days of the commencement of a rental shall be subject to the payment of the full amount of the rental at the time of booking.

Heating and electricity costs  (utilities) are extra @ €135 per day, €945 per week.

A security deposit of  €300 is also required with the final payment. This will be refunded in full at the end of the holiday, less any breakages, incidentals, meals etc.

Payment by cheque , bank draft  or direct to our bank account – or by credit card - details below.  Special offers eg free utilities are limited to one offer/discount per booking and do not apply  when  agents commission applies.

Cancellations received more than 180 days prior to arrival incur no penalty. Cancellations received less than 180 days prior to arrival may incur loss of deposit. Cancellations received less than 90 days prior to arrival may incur loss of full rental amount. If we can replace the booking then no penalty is applied.

We strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance against cancellation or illness, as late changes in bookings can mean the loss of your deposit or the entire cost of the rental.

Checking in time on the day of arrival is not before 3.00 pm. Checking out time on the day of departure is 12.00 noon.

Caterers for events /parties/small weddings can be recommended.

Dogs may be allowed in special circumstances but prior permission is required and may involve an additional cleaning charge.

Please note that exclusive use of Bansha Castle is for residential guests only. Prior notice is required for outside guests to attend a party, wedding or function and may involve an additional charge.

Bank Transfers & FX rates: Monies received is dependent on the prevailing exchange rates and charges at our bank on the day of transfer. Any adjustment will be made when refunding the security deposit at departure.
